<p>This invention discloses an OFDM reception device that uses a continuous pilot inserted at intervals of length n to obtain a delay profile that is longer than 1/n of the effective symbol length. This reception device receives: a signal obtained by converting, to the time domain, a pilot carrier inserted at prescribed subcarrier intervals; and a modulated signal in which said pilot carrier is aligned such that a signal with a length equal to the guard interval from the second half of a symbol in the aforementioned signal and a signal consisting of the aforementioned signal circularly appended to the front of an effective symbol are opposite in phase about the symbol transition point. This reception device is characterized by the provision of: a means for calculating the cross-correlation of the received signal and the signal obtained by converting the pilot carrier to the time domain at a precomputed symbol transition point; and a means for generating a delay-profile signal by averaging the result of the cross-correlation calculation in the symbol direction.</p> |
