PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut down the number of components constituting a voltage detection device.SOLUTION: A multiplexer 502 includes: a pair of normal detection paths P8 and P17; and a pair of current-carrying paths P18 and P7 that are diagnostic detection paths. The paired normal detection paths P18 and P17 are provided to output voltages of a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a battery 98, respectively. The paired current-carrying paths P18 and P7 that are the diagnostic detection paths are provided to output the voltages of the positive electrode and the negative electrode of the battery 98, respectively so as to check connection states of normal detection paths provided to output voltages of a battery 97 using the normal detection paths.
