The invention relates to an analysis unit (100) for performing a polymerase chain reaction. The analysis unit (100) comprises a cover element (105) and a bottom element (115). The bottom hollow (120) is arranged so as to face the cover element (105). Furthermore, the analysis unit (100) contains at least one fluid channel (200), which is formed between the cover element (105) and the bottom element (115) in order to conduct a fluid (135) onto the fluid-accommodating surface (125) of the bottom hollow (120). Furthermore, at least one pressure channel (110) is formed in the cover element (105) in order to conduct a pressure into the region of the fluid-accommodating surface (125). Finally, the analysis unit (100) comprises a film (122), which is arranged between the cover element (105) and the bottom element (115) in the region of the bottom hollow (120). The film (122) is designed to be deformed by the pressure when the pressure is conducted through the pressure channel (110), in such a way that the fluid (135) is moved from the fluid-accommodating surface (125) into the arrangement of microcavities (130). |
