<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus enabling an operator to easily make visual confirmation of the size of a radiation detector, installation position and a range of radiation exposure even if a subject and an imaging table overlap. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation imaging apparatus includes an imaging table 14 in which a plurality of installation positions capable of setting radiation detectors different in size are determined in advance; an operation input section 24 for inputting the size of a radiation detector 16 and its installation position; a first light source section 18 capable of projecting a range where the radiation detector 16 is installed on the imaging table 14; a second light source section 20 capable of projecting a radiation exposure range; a radiation source 12; and an imaging control section 22 for controlling each of these. The first light source section 18 has a first light source 18b and a first light source diaphragm 18a. The second light source section 20 has a second light source 20b and a second light source diaphragm 20a.
