<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented PET film for hard coats which is excellent in processing aptitude to be able to suppress curling and flatness when used as the base material of a film for a hard coat and suitable for an optical filter for PDP in particular. <P>SOLUTION: In the biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate film for hard coats, the thermal shrinkage factor Lt (%) in the width direction of the film when the film is heat-treated at 140°C for 30 min and the thermal shrinkage factor Ht (%) in the width direction of the film when the film is heat-treated at 190°C for 20 min meet the following formulas: 0.0≤Lt≤0.8 (1), -0.2≤Ht≤0.8 (2), and 0.0≤(Lt-Ht)≤0.5 (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
