<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a client device to transmit RAW image data to a server device, receive a result of development processing performed by the server device, and display it in a display area while a time required to display the result is reduced.SOLUTION: A client device reduces RAW image data to a size suitable for display, and transmits it to a server device, and requests development processing. In this case, the client device also starts the transmission processing of original RAW image data to the server device. While adjusting the development processing to the reduced RAW image data, the client device and the server device also perform the transmission/reception processing of the original RAW image data in parallel. After performing the development processing of the reduced RAW image data, the server device also executes the development processing of the original RAW image data in a manner similar to that of the reduced RAW image data as soon as a request from the client device is made.</p> |
