<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crucible for crystal growth, which uniformly stirs a melt therein with a relatively simple constitution even if it is upsized. <P>SOLUTION: The crucible (5) for crystal growth has a crucible body (20) for accommodating a melt for growing a crystal and a stirring member (21) attached to the crucible body (20) to stir the melt. The stirring member (21) has projections (23) each projecting from the inner wall of the crucible body (20) toward the inside of the crucible body.
