A dispensing carrier for smallarms ammunition comprises a magazine 1, 2 which has a dispensing shoot " C " at one end. The shoot has an elongated slot-like opening in the top through which digital access is obtained to the endmost cartridge to turn it into the dispensing position b, Fig. 18. There is a spring-biased plunger 4 which urges the cartridges as a whole toward the shoot. Positioning means 23, 36 on opposite sides of the shoot engages the tip of each cartridge alternately and the rear end can be pushed past to turn the cartridge. The magazine comprises a main part 1 closed by a side wall 2 which is resiliently retained by a spring 3. An extension of this side wall forms one half of the shoot. The magazine may be charged directly from a box of cartridges p, Fig. 12 (not shown), without disturbing their arrangement in the form shown.</p> |
