PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a polyester resin, the polyester resin for a toner and the toner using thereof with low environmental loads, capable of providing the toner containing a plant-derived raw material component and having a good fixability, hot-offset resistance and storage stability.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the polyester resin for the toner, condensation polymerization of a monomer mixture including a polyhydric alcohol and a polyvalent carboxylic acid having a plant-derived 1,3-propanediol is performed under the presence of phytosterol, and the toner uses the polyester resin for the toner as a binder resin for the toner. |
