<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique preventing the generation of a shift between a steering angle of a steering wheel and a steered angle of a steered wheel in an inspection step of transmission ratio variable control. <P>SOLUTION: A steering control device for a vehicle includes a driving part providing a steered angle to a steered wheel and a turning control part executing transmission ratio variable control for changing a transmission ratio of the steered angle to the steering angle of a steering wheel to control the driving part. The turning control part is configured to control the driving part in an inspection step of the transmission ratio variable control by using an inspection control map defining correspondence between the steering angle and a driving amount of the driving part and having a dead zone A1 without the change of the driving amount in a predetermined steering angle range including the steering angle at a neutral position of the steering wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
