<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconductor including a protective layer of Ag which is free from defect such as pinhole. <P>SOLUTION: The oxide superconductor 1 includes a base material 2, and an orientation layer 4, an oxide superconductive layer 6 and a protective layer 7 of Ag provided above the base material. The protective layer of Ag has a surface roughness Rz of 1300 nm or less. When forming the protective layer of Ag on the oxide superconductive layer by deposition following to formation of the orientation layer and the oxide superconductive layer above the base material, deposition is carried out while heating the base material at a temperature in the range of 200°C-800°C, thus forming a protective layer of Ag having a surface roughness Rz of 1300 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
