<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper for printing that is excellent in white paper gloss and has an excellent appearance. <P>SOLUTION: Coated paper has two or more pigment coated layers including a pigment and a binder as main components on at least one side of base paper made by a gap-former type paper machine at a papermaking speed of 1000 m/min or higher. The outermost pigment coated layer is provided by a blade coating system at a speed of 1000 m/min or higher. The mass ratio of organic materials:inorganic materials in the outermost pigment coated layer is 9:91 to 15:85. In the coated paper, the white paper glossiness at 75 degrees incident angle/light acceptance angle based on ISO 8254-1(2009) is 78 or higher, and the white paper glossiness at 60 degrees incident angle/light acceptance angle based on ISO 2813(1994) is 48 or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
