<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic chronometer that permits fast shifting of its hour hand and minute hand by the user's manipulation without intuitive difficulty and, when their time indicating positions are to be greatly altered, shifting of the pointers in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic chronometer comprises a first step motor that turns the minute hand; a second step motor that turns the hour hand; a rotationally operated member that is rotationally operated from outside; discerning means that discerns, when this rotationally operated member is rotated, whether or not the rotational speed of the rotationally operated member is not less than a prescribed speed (S6); first fast forward control means that performs a first drive control to move forward the minute hand and the hour hand interlocked with each other when the pattern of the discernment result of the discerning means takes on a first pattern (S9 and S11); and second fast forward control means that performs a second drive control to move forward the hour hand more than the advancing extent of the minute hand by a one-hour equivalent when the pattern of the discernment result of the discerning means takes on a second pattern (S12 and S13). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
