<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly perform variable print processing by efficiently storing a reuse-object into a cache memory. <P>SOLUTION: The print control device generating a print image from variable print data includes: a reuse-object using frequency calculation section which calculates the using frequency of the reuse-object; a variable print data analysis section which interprets the variable print data, extracts the reuse-object and a temporary-use object and rasterizes them; the cache memory and an external storage apparatus; a storage form determination section which weights the reuse-objects based on the using frequency, stores the image data of the reuse objects into the cache memory in descending order of the using frequency within the capacity of the cache memory; an image compositing processing section which composites the images of the reuse-object and the temporary-use object; and a print image transfer section which transfers the print image to a printing apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
