<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which reduces image quality deterioration and sheet-jamming caused by cockling, without drastically prolonging the time required to record an image on a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus includes: a recording part 24 for recording the image on the conveyed recording sheet 19; and a microcomputer 130. The microcomputer 130 can generate second print data which is obtained by rotating by 180°first print data for recording the image in order from the leading end part to the trailing end part of the recording sheet 19 in the sheet conveying direction 15. When causing the recording part 24 to eject ink droplets based on the first print data, the microcomputer 130 calculate the first amount of ink ejected to the leading end part of the recording sheet 19 and the second amount of ink ejected to the trailing end part of the sheet 19, and compares both amounts of ink. When the second amount of ink is less than the first amount of ink, the microcomputer 130 causes the recording part 24 to eject ink droplets based on the second print data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
