A display device and a control method thereof are disclosed. The display device according to embodiments of the present invention is configured to comprise: a main body configured to be wearable on a specific part of a human body; a display unit outputting a pre-view screen to photograph a video as coupled to the main body; a photographing unit detecting an input to set a first region on the pre-view screen, and performing video photographing with regard to the first region in accordance with a photographing signal; and a control unit generating the photographing signal, and outputting a first graphic object indicating the first region on the display unit. Here, the control unit stops photographing a video with regard to the first region and outputs, to the display unit, a second graphic object indicating an extent of which the first region is placed apart from a view angle when at least a part of the first graphic object is out of a reference range from the view angle of the photographing unit while photographing a video with regard to the first region. |
