<p>An apparatus for registering elevator destination is provided. The apparatus for registering elevator destination includes an auxiliary button for the visually impaired used to register destination of the visually impaired; a voice output unit configured to output voice for registering the destination when the auxiliary button for the visually impaired is pushed; and a control unit configured to detect a push of the auxiliary button for the visually impaired to start an auxiliary operation mode for the visually impaired, and to recognize the destination. By repeating in predetermined order a voice output of the voice output unit and a determination of the control unit for a push of the auxiliary button for the visually impaired according to the voice output, the control unit can recognize the destination.</p> |
