<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating autoimmune thyroid diseases including a biguanide drivative and, more specifically, metformin as an effective component. The composition of the present invention has low cytotoxicity and inhibits formation of hyaluronan and differentiation of fat, thereby effectively treating or alleviating various pathological conditions caused by thyroid autoantibody, for example thyroid eyeball illness.</p> |
