<p>A delta planar patch antenna apparatus to generate surface waves with end-fire radiation pattern includes: a substrate which is made of insulating material; an antenna element which is formed onto a first surface of the substrate and is shaped in a delta shape in plan view; a ground element which is formed onto a second surface of the substrate that is opposite to the first surface; a connecting part which is disposed close to a corner portion of the antenna element and connects the antenna element and the ground element; and a feeding point which is disposed close to the connecting part and is coupled with the connecting part, wherein the antenna element includes a length corresponding to a quarter wavelength of a communication frequency.</p> |
