<p>An umbrella holder 1 for holding and transporting umbrellas while preventing any moisture on the umbrella from leaving the container, the holder having a tubular container 2 with an umbrella opening 3 through which a closed umbrella can be inserted into the container 2, and a lid 4 for closing the opening 3 so that an umbrella is entirely contained within the holder 1, and a closable drain aperture 5 for draining fluid of all sorts from the container 2. The fact that the container 2 and lid 4 fully enclose an umbrella inside the container 2 prevents any moisture from leaving the container 2 and allows moisture or water to drain from a wet umbrella in the container and collect in the container 2, the closable drain aperture 5 can be opened by a user to drain accumulated fluid from the container 2 at a convenient time before the umbrella is re-used.</p> |
