<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for performing message authentication while suppressing a communication load. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system of an embodiment comprises: a communication device which transmits a message storing a transmission side message authenticator generated from input data composed of a plurality of messages in a free area detected, when the free area is detected in a data field of the message to be transmitted; and an authentication device which generates a reception side message authenticator from input data composed of a plurality of messages corresponding to the input data of the transmission side message authenticator out of each message received from the communication device when the transmission side message authenticator is included in the message received from the communication device, and performs message authentication processing targeting a plurality of messages transmitted by the communication device on the basis of the reception side message authenticator and the transmission side message authenticator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
