An electronic device comprises an integrated flexible sprung clip 3, one or more conductive contact pads (4, figure 2) and an electronic circuit (8, figure 3) and is configured to be held against a capacitance touch screen of a mobile telephone, personal digital assistant or tablet computing device by the clip and is arranged such that the electrical charge dissipation rate of the one or more pads is controlled using the electronic circuit to simulate the presence of a human finger and human usage of a capacitance touch screen. The device preferably comprises a conductive rubber clip insert (6, figure 2) to contact the back of the telephone, personal digital assistant or tablet to simulate holding in a human hand. The circuit may be an electronic controlled timer circuit. |
