The invention provides an inductively heating type rice cooker, which comprises a pot (2) detachably arranged in the main body (1) of the rice cooker, a substantially planar heating coil (5) used for heating the pot (2), an inverter (7) used for applying a high-frequency current onto the heating coil (5), and a control part (8) used for controlling the inverter (7). The pot (2) is composed of a pot body (2a) made of highly heat-conductive material and a magnetic plate (16) bonded to the bottom surface of the pot body (2a) and made of magnetic metal material. A convex part (20) projected towards the interior of the pot is formed at the middle part (2c) of the bottom surface of the pot body and is positioned away from the heating coil (5). |
