<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting SNP to get a more reliable detection result, and a reagent kit for detecting SNP. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for detecting SNP by carrying out a nucleic acid amplification reaction using a primer set containing a hairpin primer, a primer set containing a competitor primer, a bulge-binding molecule, and a specimen nucleic acid. Since the competitor primer is longer than a region complementary to the specimen nucleic acid of the hairpin primer by at least one base at a 5'-end side, generation of a false-positive result is suppressed to obtain more reliable detection results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
