<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance of an exhaust gas recirculation valve (hereinafter, referred to as "EGR valve"). <P>SOLUTION: The EGR valve 10 for controlling the amount of exhaust gas to be recirculated into an intake system in an internal combustion engine 1 includes: a housing 20 having a gas passage 21 in which exhaust gas is distributed, and accommodating a valve device 30 for adjusting the opening of the gas passage 21; and a projecting body 50 which is integrally projected from the housing 20, and attached to a fixed nodal part 5 as an engine low-temperature part where the temperature is lower than that of the gas passage 21 in the internal combustion engine 1. Thus, the heat of exhaust gas flowing in the gas passage 21 is transferred to the fixed nodal part 5 on the low-temperature side, and reliably released, thereby improving cooling performance of the EGR valve 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
