<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm mounting metal fitting capable of reliably preventing rotation of an article mounted at the top of an arm member, such as a traffic light, a road signpost and a signboard, even when the article is influenced by a wind such as wind pressure to start to rotate or vibrate. <P>SOLUTION: An arm mounting metal fitting 1 for mounting an arm member 3 on an approximately columnar support 2 includes: a pair of metal fitting bodies 11, 11 which are mounted on both the side surfaces of a base end of the arm member 3 respectively and have support counter edges to be opposed to and abutted on the outer peripheral surface of the support 2; and a pair of fastening bands 12, 12 the one end of which is connected to the pair of metal fitting bodies 11, 11 and the other end of which is fastened to a support fastening bolt 13a via a nut 13b or the like. Each support counter edge of the pair of metal fitting bodies 11, 11 is provided with a plurality of corners 11a11, 11a12.
