PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation accuracy of a fuel property estimated during engine operation in an engine control device.SOLUTION: A first estimation means 2 estimating a cetane value of the fuel based on delay of ignition timing of an engine 10 and a first correction means 3 correcting at least the fuel injection timing based on the cetane value estimated by the first estimation means 2 are provided. Also, a second estimation means 4 estimating the fuel viscosity based on the fuel injection amount for making the rotational speed of the engine 10 during idling operation and a second correction means 5 correcting at least the fuel injection amount based on the fuel viscosity estimated by the second estimation means 4 are provided. Further, provided is a fuel injection control means 6 that executes correction by the first correction means 3 or the second correction means 5 based on the result of the estimation by either one of the first estimation means 2 and the second estimation means 4, and thereafter executes estimation by the other. |
