<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of adsorption efficiency in an adsorption tank, which is caused by the increase of tank pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The adsorption control means 60 of a controller 50 stops vapor introduction after the lapse of a first predetermined time from the start of the vapor introduction, and determines whether or not underground tanks 20A-20C are filled with volatile liquid fuel, based on the pressure of the underground tanks 20A-20C after the lapse of a second predetermined time after the stop of the vapor introduction. When it is determined that the underground tanks 20A-20C are not filled with the volatile fuel, the vapor introduction to the adsorption tank 30 is not performed.
