<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven or knitted fabric having fibril feeling of silk tone, squeaky feeling, dry feeling and deep glossy feeling, and also having excellent antistatic characteristics and fabric strength. <P>SOLUTION: The woven or knitted fabric for woman clothing includes a polyester-based fiber in which a plurality of stripe-like grooves are formed in a fiber axial direction in a surface layer, and cavities each having a diameter of 0.1-5μm, independent of the grooves, are discontinuously disposed in a fiber length direction in the interior, the cavities existing at a ratio of 1-300 pcs. per horizontal fiber cross section.
