<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing fitting for a building which is simple in structure and installation, and easily applied to a wooden building and reform construction, and to provide a reinforcing structure using the reinforcing fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforcing fitting for the building includes a pair of substantially U-shaped brackets 2, a fitting shaft 4 rotatably fitted between the opposite side plates 2A, 2A of each bracket 2 and formed with a screw hole 4a therethrough in the radial direction, and a bar-like body 5 formed with male screws 5a, 5a, at both ends screwed with the screw hole 4a of each fitting shafts 4. The male screws 5a, 5a at both the ends of the bar-like body 5 are reversal screws formed in the reverse direction, and the bar-like body 5 is rotated in forward and rearward directions while both the brackets 2 are fixed, thus imparting a tensile force to the bar-like body 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
