<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize lowering of transfer efficiency when performing wormhole routing. <P>SOLUTION: The router includes a plurality of ports for receiving and storing packets and then transferring the packets thus stored, and an issue section which issues the transfer permission information indicating permission of transfer of the packets thus stored sequentially by round robin system for the ports storing the packets out of a plurality of ports. The port to which the transfer permission information is issued, out of a plurality of ports, transfers the packets stored.
