<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily decomposable aromatic polyester fiber capable of easily decomposing in a natural environment, a manufacturing method for the same, a fiber structure including the same and a fiber product including the same. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an easily decomposable aromatic polyester fiber, comprises subjecting acid processing to, for example, aromatic polyester fiber including aromatic polyester obtained by copolymerization of an ester-forming metal sulfonate compound and/or an ester-forming phosphonium sulfonate compound. Accordingly, there is provided the easily decomposable aromatic polyester fiber having tensile strength retention after being left for 168 hours under a temperature of 70°C and a humidity of 90%RH being 70% or less of the tensile strength before being left.
