<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an operating state of a circuit breaker included in each power storage element in power storage blocks each connecting a plurality of power storage elements in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: A power storage system includes: a power storage apparatus having a plurality of blocks each connecting a plurality of power storage elements in parallel, and having in each power storage element the circuit breaker for interrupting a current path in the power storage element; and a controller for, with the use of a detection resistance value acquired from detection values of a voltage of the power storage apparatus and a current flowing through the power storage apparatus, detecting an operating state of the circuit breaker on the basis of a rise in the detection resistance value across the operation of the circuit breaker. The number of cells connected in parallel is specified such that a change in the detection resistance value of the power storage apparatus across the operation of the circuit breaker depending on the number of cells connected in parallel is greater than an upper limit value of the detection resistance value before the operation of the circuit breaker based on a detection error in the detection resistance value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
