<p>The starter has a cable pulley or cable drum rotatably mounted in a housing. The pulley or drum is rotatably movable for generating drive torque for a crankshaft by an operating-handle over a power transmission unit e.g. operating-cable or traction cable. The cable pulley or drum is connected with a driver link i.e. pawl driver, over a resilient coupling link. Ends of the coupling link are engaged with driver link and the cable pulley or drum, respectively. A rotation stopper i.e. damping element, is provided at the coupling link, and comprises a rubber element and an attenuation spring.</p> |
