<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a flat or profiled component, which is especially suitable for use as a wall, ceiling or floor component, using a homogeneous mixture of expanded glass granules and an inorganic or organic binder, the method comprising at least the following steps: introducing part of the homogeneous mixture of expanded glass granules and binder into a mold or into an auxiliary device replacing the mold if no mold is used, especially for continuous production, forming a polystyrene layer by placing a polystyrene sheet or applying a polystyrene bead bulk to the homogeneous mixture, distributing the remainder of the homogeneous mixture on the polystyrene layer, compacting by pressing and curing to give a flat or profiled component under the effect of heat at a temperature of =90°C. The invention further relates to a flat or profiled component which is produced using a homogeneous mixture of expanded glass granules and an inorganic or organic binder.</p> |
