<p>The present invention concerns a control member (1) for a welding or cutting device (500) with a hand grip 503, and comprises means (5) for mechanical connection to the device (500) and first electrical connection means (6) suited to be coupled with corresponding second electrical connection means (505) belonging to the device (500). Said mechanical connection means (5) are suited to allow the control member (1) to be applied to the device (500) in a corresponding seat (521), with no need to remove the hand grip (503) or one of its parts (503a, 503b).
