<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a still image, while photographing an animation, by respectively setting imaging areas of the animation and the still image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element 101 having multiple photoelectric transformation elements for receiving light made incident via a photographing optical system and outputting image signals; division means 112 for dividing the imaging surface of the imaging element into multiple imaging areas; first generation means 110b for generating animation data through the use of the image signals outputted from the photoelectric transformation elements included in the first imaging area between the multiple imaging areas; and second generation means 110a for generating still image data during the generation of the animation data by the first generation means, through the use of the image signals outputted from the photoelectric transformation elements included in the second imaging area different from the first imaging area between the multiple imaging areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
