<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object change detecting device capable of quickly and accurately detecting changes in an object in the periphery of a vehicle, and a method for detecting changes in an object. <P>SOLUTION: The object change detecting device detects attributes of an object from an image; acquires type information representing a type of the object in the detected attributes of the object; sets a change detecting threshold for use in a change detection of the object on the basis of the acquired type information; and detects the changes in the object from the image including the detected object using the set change detecting threshold. The object change detecting device acquires state information representing a state of the object in the detected attributes of the object; and sets a change detecting threshold for use in the change detection of the object on the basis of the acquired type information and the acquired state information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
