Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for enabling interoperability between different quality management computer systems used by a manufacturer and its suppliers. An example method comprises receiving, over an electronic network, a first communication from a manufacturer associated with a process. The process is associated with the manufacturer and a supplier. In response to the first communication, a standard workflow is advanced to a new step associated with that standard workflow. If the first party uses a custom workflow, an equivalent step on the custom workflow that corresponds to the new step on the standard workflow is determined. A second communication is sent to the first party, comprising information associated with the advancing of the workflow and at least one of the new step on the standard workflow or the equivalent step on the custom workflow. |
