<p>The present invention relates to a backlight unit, a liquid crystal display device using the same, and a method for driving the same, capable of preventing noises of LED backlight and improving driving efficiency by maintaining or varying a phase delay value by each LED array driving channel of the LED backlight according to driving dimming values of LED arrays. The backlight unit comprises: a backlight including multiple LED arrays which are arranged to generate light; and a backlight control unit to maintain or vary a phase delay duration by each driving channel according to a duty ratio as well as to control switch-on/off durations of the LED arrays by each driving channel of the backlight according to the duty ratio of a dimming control signal or a pulse width modulation signal that is supplied from an external system or a timing controller.</p> |
