The present invention relates to an apparatus for washing hot peppers. A brush roller (20) having washing brushes (48),(50) is joined and installed in a washing container (16), installed to be long in the left and right direction on a support frame (14), and is rotated by a motor (18). A washing water supplying pipe (28), which is connected with a water supplying pipe and sprays water to hot peppers through a spraying nozzle (26), is installed on an upper portion of the inside of the washing container (16). A hopper (24), which is sectioned by a separation plate (40) except an inlet on one side thereof, is formed on an upper portion of the washing container (16). An outlet (34) including an open/close plate (30), arranged to be able to opened and closed, is formed on a front surface on the other side of the washing container (16). An overflow (36) for adjusting a water level in the washing container (16) is formed on the other side of the washing container (16). The apparatus has a relatively simple structure and can cleanly and rapidly wash hot peppers. |
