<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further suppress subsidence by dispersing an axial force of a steel support while dispensing with overbreak and overhang to an inner space side, when reinforcing a tunnel leg. <P>SOLUTION: A tunnel leg reinforcing structure comprises a steel support 1 that is installed along an inner peripheral surface of a tunnel, and a base plate 2 that is interposed between a leg of the steel support 1 and ground and that secures an area in the axial direction of the tunnel. The base plate 2 is an integration of a plurality of square pipes juxtaposed between upper and lower flat steel plates. A wing plate 3 integrated with the leg of the steel support 1, extending in the axial direction of the tunnel along natural ground is also provided.
