<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile instrument capable of achieving a high-quality illumination performance without illumination unevenness, in which cost reduction can be achieved and a novel instrument design can be expressed. <P>SOLUTION: An automobile instrument integrally includes: a dial 10 on which scales 13 and numbers 14 are arranged in a nearly arc-shaped making a pointer shaft insertion hole 12 as the center; and a facing 50 overhanging in an eaves shape arranged around a peripheral edge portion of the dial 10. The scales 13 and the numbers 14 are formed by cutout holes Hc formed through the dial 10 to perform illumination of the scales 13 and the numbers 14 by leaked light to the cutout holes Hc from a light source 40 arranged behind the dial 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
