<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber alignment fixture, when using an optical cable independently incorporating a plurality of optical fiber strands, even if a distance between a sheath end of the optical cable and an optical device is substantially short, capable of mounting the optical fiber strands on the optical device. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber alignment fixture 6 comprises a base member 13, a pressing member 14, and a pair of opening/closing members 15. The upper face of the base member 13 is formed with an alignment groove 17 that collectively stores a plurality of optical fiber strands 4 in a line. The pressing member 14 presses the respective optical fiber strands 4 stored in the alignment groove 17 towards the base member 13. A recessed part 23 is formed between the base member 13 and the pressing member 14. One side of each opening/closing member 15 is provided with a wedge part 26 that is insertable/extractable with respect to the recessed part 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
