摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system capable of maintaining the amount of a liquid in a Petri dish to be approximately constant even when the liquid such as a culture medium is repeatedly discharged and injected. <P>SOLUTION: The microscope system includes a microscope 2, a nozzle 18 serving as a discharge port of a liquid from a Petri dish 9, a nozzle 17 serving as an injection port of the liquid to the Petri dish 9, a pump 6 discharging the liquid from the Petri dish 9 through the nozzle 18, a pump 5 injecting the liquid to the Petri dish 9 through the nozzle 17, and a controlling device 7 controlling the pumps 5, 6 and controlling discharge and injection of the liquid. The nozzle 18 is extended so as to dispose the discharge port close to the bottom of the Petri dish 9 when the liquid is discharged. The nozzle 17 is extended so as to dispose the injection port to be away from the bottom of the Petri dish 9 than the discharge port, upon injecting the liquid. The controlling device 7 drives the pump 6 to discharge the liquid until the liquid surface of the liquid in the Petri dish 9 moves away from the top end of the nozzle 18, and subsequently drives the pump 5 to inject a predetermined amount of the liquid into the Petri dish 9 to exchange the liquid in the Petri dish 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
