The light and ventilation shaft (1), particularly for windows (2) in basement walls (3) of ground buildings according to the present invention, consists of a prefabricate comprising a bottom (8) and at least one wall provided with windows (12) for its placing in an excavation pit at the place of a window opening in the basement wall (3) of the object. The light and ventilation shaft (1) is made of concrete with crystallization admixture. The concrete has waterproof microstructure formed due to secondary crystallization, which takes place in the concrete thanks to the presence of said crystallization admixture. The bottom (8) has a profiled internal lower surface in three planes for discharge of rainwater through a weep hole.
