PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous lithium-air secondary battery having an advantage in the capability to inhibit alkali corrosion in a glass ceramic layer.SOLUTION: The aqueous lithium-air secondary battery comprises a negative electrode 1 containing metallic lithium, and a positive electrode 2 supplied with air, and a glass ceramic layer 3 made of a lithium ion conducting material having water impermeability, a portion A containing a first aqueous electrolytic solution 41, a cation-exchange membrane 102, and a portion B containing a second aqueous electrolytic solution 42 are provided between the negative electrode 1 and the positive electrode 2 in this order from the negative electrode 1 side to the positive electrode 2 side. The first aqueous electrolytic solution 41 in the portion A contains a lithium salt having a pH in the range of 4 to 12. The concentration of lithium ions in the first aqueous electrolytic solution 41 in the portion A is equal to or higher than the concentration of lithium ions in the second aqueous electrolytic solution 42 in the portion B. |
