<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens that has a wide angle of view whose half angle of view at a wide angle end is about 42 degrees or more, a variable power ratio of 15 times or more, color aberration satisfactorily corrected, a small size and high resolution. <P>SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises first to fourth lens groups G1 to G4 that are positive, negative, positive, and positive. An aperture stop S is arranged between the second and third lens groups. In varying magnification from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, the interval between the first and second lens groups increases; the interval between the second and third lens groups decreases; and the first and third lens groups G1 and G3 move so that they are located closer to an object side at the telephoto end than at a wide angle end. The third lens group G3 comprises, from the object side, a 3a-th lens group that is positive and a 3b-th lens group that is negative. The 3a-th lens group comprises, in order from the object side, a positive lens having a convex face on the object side and a negative lens having a concave face on an image side. The 3b-th lens group is a cemented lens formed of a positive lens having a convex face on the object side and a negative lens, and the bonded surface is convex on the image side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
