<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fluid conveying hose, which can properly and easily form the taper shape of a buoyancy layer at the end of a hose body. <P>SOLUTION: A strip material 12 of sponge rubber for forming the buoyancy layer 8 is wound and multilayered so that the wound ends 13 of the strip material 12 are shifted between layers in a longitudinal direction of the hose to shape steps.
