<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood structure for a vehicle that can achieve both of the improvement of energy absorption performance when an impactor comes into collision with a hood upper surface and the suppression of reaction force to the impactor when the impactor comes into collision from the hood front end side. <P>SOLUTION: The front end part of a hood inner panel 18 is arranged between a hood outer panel 16 and a lock reinforcement 44. A plurality of beads 30 which are made to be a protruded shape to the hood outer panel 16 side are disposed in parallel in the hood width direction with the hood front and rear direction as the longitudinal direction, on the hood inner panel 18. A plurality of front edge parts of beads 30 are defined as a front side extension part 36 set on the hood front side from the rear end part 44B of the lock reinforcement 44.
